Welcome to the Environmental Geochemistry and Mineralogy research group.

We conduct integrated geochemical and mineralogical research to address challenges related to water quality, land contamination, soil productivity and hazardous waste management.

Our focus is rooted in understanding and harnessing the role that minerals play in relation to the geochemical processes that underpin these global challenges.

Our team is led by Prof Ed Burton, and is part of the Faculty of Science & Engineering at Southern Cross University in northern NSW, Australia.
